Jake Hershman Wofford 2018Sometimes relievers have better games than starters… and last night was one of those times. Our pitcher of the day is Charlottesville’s Jake Hershman, from Wofford, who threw 4 no-hit, shutout innings in relief against Purcellville, while walking only 1 and striking out 5. It was his first appearance of the Valley League season. Jake went 4-4, 4.59, with 3 saves over 51 innings for Wofford this spring.
