Chase DeMars Harford CC 2016Our hitter of the day is New Market’s Chase DeMars, from Harford Community College! Chase, a USC Columbia signee, went 2-5, with 2 runs, 4 RBIs, and 2 home runs. He’s now hitting 308/393/449 in 107 a-bats this summer, along with 6 doubles and 3 home runs. For Harford this spring, Chase hit 358/471/679 in 218 at-bats. He was second on his team in doubles (22) and walks (43). He only struck out 20 times.
