Jordan DeLorenzo, the lefty starter from West Florida, already had a fantastic summer season in the Valley in 2013 for Front Royal. ATVL named him the 2nd best starter on the league, behind only Ricky Winters from Delta State.

Jordan DeLorenzo West Florida 2014Well, now Jordan is truly having a season for the ages at West Florida. He has done nothing but dominate the opposition in every single start. After ten starts, he’s 10-0, 0.73, with 6 complete games, 4 shutouts, a .161 opponent’s batting average, and only 16 walks and 42 hits in 74 1/3 innings pitched. He has allowed only 9 runs all year- and only 6 of them are earned. That, folks, is some kind of domination!

Before the season, Baseball America had named Jordan the #9 draft prospect in all of Division-II baseball, and Jordan has done nothing but live up the billing.

I imagine Jordan will be drafted this summer, since he is a draft-eligible junior, and 6-1 lefties that are win literally every single one of their starts are pretty rare.

Keep it up, Jordan!
