Once again, I’m getting to leave- but this time for a couple days. We’re travelling to Kitale to see some “old” friends of mine who are in an orphanage called Seeds Children’s Home. I will not be able to post on Monday’s games until Wednesday, but rest assured, I will catch up!

Hitter of the Day

Blake Edwards Columbus State 2Our hitter of the day is Covington’s Blake Edwards, who also won this “award” back on June 7th. Blake, from Columbus State, went 4-5 last night, with 2 runs, and RBI, and a SB. Check out these numbers for the year: 513/525/641, 20-39 with 6 stolen bases. This is a small sample size, of course, so we can’t expect him to keep hitting at THIS rate, but what a tremendous start for Blake!
