Hitter of the Day
Our hitter of the day has been on fire lately; in fact, he was ATVL’s hitter of the day just three days ago. It’s Aldie’s Garret Vrbanic, from Seton Hill, who went 4-5 last night, with 2 runs, a double, and a stolen base. Garret has raised his rate stats all the way to 326/408/512 in 43 at-bats. He has 8 hits in his last 13 at-bats!

Pitcher of the Day
The POD is also a repeater: Waynesboro’s Zach Williamsen, from Nebraska-Omaha! Zach has done nothing but pitch well this
summer, and last night was another good start. Zach threw 7 shutout innings against New Market, allowing 5 hits, 0 walks, and striking out 9 to earn the win (and a game score of 76). He’s now 2-1, 1.28 on the year, with only 13 hits and 2 walks in 21 innings, along with 23 strikeouts. I don’t think the Generals could ask for much more!
