- New Market 7, Aldie 6 (7 innings): With the split, Aldie is in a three-way tie for 6th with Strasburg and Covington (6th, 7th, and 8th places). New Market is still in last place, 3.5 games behind the last spot for the playoffs.
- Charles Town 8, Strasburg 7: CT overcame a 6-0 deficit and then scored an unearned run in the bottom of the 9th to upend the Express. The Cannons are getting closer and closer to the top of the league; they are now alone in 3rd place, 1.5 games behind the Turks and Cardinals. As mentioned above, the Express are in a three-way tie for 6th place.
- Winchester 7, Staunton 3: Darrell Thompson shut down the explosive Brave bats to bring the Royals to 2.0 games behind the triumvirate in 6th place. The Braves have slipped to 5th place, 1.0 game behind Waynesboro, and 3.0 games ahead of Aldie/Strasburg/Covington.
- Waynesboro 3, Woodstock 0: A combination of Kevin Doherty and Marcus Shippey shut out the RiverBandits, moving the Generals into 4th place, and only 2.5 games out of first. Woodstock, at 13-22, is now a full 3.0 games behind a playoff spot, and only .5 games ahead of last place New Market.
- Harrisonburg 6, Front Royal 5: The Turks used a 4-run 8th inning (big blow was a bases-clearing double by Mitchell Matulia) to move percentage points ahead of Front Royal into 1st place. Turks are 22-12, Cards are 23-13.
