3. Staunton Braves: 24-15, clinched top 6 seed, 5 games left: Waynes, at Cov, NM, at Waynes, at Wood. The Braves have 3 games left against sub-.500 teams. They are a half game behind the Cardinals, and a half game in front of Waynesboro.

4. Waynesboro Generals: 24-16, clinched top 6 seed, 4 games left: at Stan, Stan, at NM, at Wood. Two games with Staunton will be crucial. Half game behind Braves, 1.5 ahead of Cannons.

5. Charles Town Cannons: 22-17, clinched top 7 seed, 5 games left: NM, at Stras, at Aldie, Stras, at FR.

6. Strasburg Express: 20-20, Express clinched a playoff spot even without playing last night! They are in the top 8 for sure. With one Express win or one Aldie loss, they are guaranteed a top-7 placement. Games left (4): CT, Wood, at CT, Turks (?).

7. Covington Lumberjacks: 17-22, nothing clinched yet, 5 games left: Wood, Stan, at Harr, Harr, at Winc. The Jacks hold a 1.0 game lead over Aldie and 2.5 over New Market at the moment.

8. Aldie Senators: 17-24, huge win last night, nothing clinched, 3 games left: Winc, CT, at Winc.

9. New Market Rebels: 15-25, 4 games left: at CT, at Harr, at Stan, Waynes. Rebels are now up against it. They are 1.5 games behind Aldie for the last spot, with only 4 games to play…

10. Winchester Royals: 14-26, 4 games left: at Aldie, at FR, Aldie, Cov. Really tough loss against Front Royal last night. 2.5 games behind Aldie, but they play twice, so it’s still possible! They play tonight, so things may be clearer in the morning…
