Hitter of the Day

Several short games, so it was tougher for hitters to compile stats (just keep that in mind). So our hitter of the day is Waynesboro’s Cole Gruber, from Nebraska-Omaha. Cole went 2-3 in the Generals’ first game last night, with a run, 2 RBIs, walk, and double. Cole is having a fantastic year for the Gens, hitting 385/516/443 in 40 games and 122 at-bats, with a 28/27 BB/K ratio and 23 stolen bases.
