Former Harrisonburg Turk (2013) and Front Royal Cardinal (2014) Jake Harper started a playoff game in the Cape Cod League last night!
And not only did he start it, but he won it, too.
It was his third game since he joined the Cotuit Kettleers, but first start. Jake definitely did his job against the Bourne Braves last night, as he gave up only 2 runs (1 earned) in his 6 1/3 innings pitched, along with allowing 6 hits and 1 walk. Cotuit won the game 4-2.
You’ll be hearing more about Jake on this page before too long, as he was one of the best starting pitchers in the Valley League in 2014!
