Find here, brilliant reader, a list of links from the past couple weeks. All (most) to do with the Valley League in some way…

First of all, click here to read about Jason Kipnis (Covington 2006-07) and his hopes for an injury-free, bounce-back season for the Cleveland Indians. The article also has four cool videos, as well.

Secondly, Waynesboro’s head coach, DJ King, penned this article about his summer experience in the Valley. It’s a strong summary of what happens in Valley League communities!

This one was recommended by the Turks’ Teresa Wease. It’s about former Turk Juan Pierre and his journey since he retired from the major leagues. He also speaks of his faith in this article.

What is the Strasburg Express up to? A nationwide scouting network, that’s what. The Express have added a number of former major league players across the country to help the team, and the league, identify top collegiate talent. This is a fascinating article– it’s a must read! This one, on the same story, was in the Northern Virginia Daily. Click here to read it, or to see a picture of Parker Neal!

And just for fun, if anyone out there really enjoys reading, here is the link for The Morning News’ 2015 Tournament of Books selections…

And to finish things off, here is an awesome photo that Nick Rickles (Luray 2010) posted on his Facebook page!
