Hunter Newman, a junior at Trevecca, is off to a tremendous start to his college season!
Ranked the #7 hitter in the 2014 Valley League season by this site, Hunter has picked up right where he left off in Front Royal. After nine games for Trevecca, Hunter is hitting 528/581/1.056 in 36 at-bats! He has scored 9 runs, driven in 17, and has 5 doubles, 1 triple, and 4 home runs. That’s 10 extra base hits in only 9 games!
Hunter has already been named the player of the week in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference back on February 16th.
Let’s see if Hunter can continue putting up video game numbers….
