Continuing the theme of checking in with former Valley Leaguers who are crushing it so far in the 2015 college season, we have the 6-2, 225-pound senior catcher from Barry, Greg Brodzinski!
Greg, last seen in the Valley playing for Charles Town in 2014, is having a fantastic year so far. After 19 games, Greg is hitting 392/448/581 in 74 at-bats, with 18 runs, 22 RBIs, 5 doubles, 3 home runs, and an 8/6 BB/K ratio. He leads the Buccaneers in batting average, hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs, and slugging percentage. He’s 2nd in runs and 3rd in on-base percentage. I would say that he’s rather important to the Buc’s lineup.
For Charles Town last summer, Greg hit 312/368/377 in 20 games and 77 at-bats.
