Only two of the six scheduled games were played last night because of rain, and one of the played games only went 6 innings. Let’s take a look:
Results
Charlottesville 16, Winchester 2 (6 innings)
New Market 9, Woodstock 1
All others postponed
Hitter of the Day

Our hitter of the day is once again Storm Edwards, from New Market and NC State; this is the 3rd time already that he’s winning this “award!” Storm went 3-4 last night, along with 3 runs, 2 RBIs, a double, a home run, and a walk. He is now hitting an amazing 441/545/676 in 34 at-bats this summer season. (Picking a top ten of hitters right now would be a herculean task, I’m afraid…)
