summer start last night in a must-win for the Lumberjacks. All he did was pitch 11 innings (he faced 46 batters and threw 144 pitches!) and allow 9 hits, 3 runs, but only 1 earned, 1 walk, and strike out 6. He did not get a decision, but it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying. He earned a game score of 76. Cody has actually served as the Lumberjack closer this summer.. up to last night, anyway. For the season, Cody is 0-3, 1.17, with 27 hits, 10 walks, and 26 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings pitched.
