Eleven pitchers all within 2 wins. Whoa. Austin Gomber’s great 2015 puts him at the top, tied with pitchers from 7 or 8 years ago. Villanueva and Mills are the only major league pitchers on this list.
Side note- Rowdy Hardy’s 2007 season had fans quite interested in his future. He had just won 15 games for Wilmington in High-A, but he just didn’t throw hard enough to solve Double-A the next couple seasons. He ended up in the Atlanta Braves system in 2011, and even threw in 4 games in Triple-A. He did not make the majors.
