Our hitter of the day is Staunton’s Irvin Lopez, from Florida International! Irvin went 3-5 against New Market, with a run, 3 RBIs, a triple, and a home run. He’s now hitting 429/500/810 in 21 at-bats this summer. For FIU this spring, the junior hit 335/394/437 in 197 at-bats. He led the team in batting average, on-base percentage, and hits!
