Brett Gardner Watch: 158 doubles. Good for 3rd on the list.
Ryan Schimpf joins the career lists for the first time with his 17 doubles in 2016. Imagine if he gets a full season at second base for the Padres in 2017? He might strike out 200 times, but he could hit 35 home runs, too. And 40 doubles? Well, we’ll see.
Next up: triples!
