Back in the middle of February, James Reeves (Staunton 2013) struck out 14 batters in only 6 innings for The Citadel.

Last Thursday, he threw an even better game against Mercer, firing a complete game no-hitter! James walked 6, struck out 14, and allowed only 3 Merver batters to reach scoring position while throwing a whopping 146 pitches.

He’s now 5-1, 2.83 on the season, with 62 strikeouts in only 47 2/3 innings pitched.

Reeves has firmly planted himself in the “prospect” category this season!
