2015 Full Season A Pitcher of the Year

2014 Winner: Chad Kuhl (New Market 2012)

2015 Winner: Austin Gomber (Luray 2012)

Austin Gomber Peoria 2015In another pretty easy call, Austin Gomber comes away with the full season A-ball pitcher of the year award! Austin was on some folks’ radar before the season, and his performance at Peoria solidified his prospect status. Overall, he went 15-3, 2.67 in 22 starts and 135 innings pitched, along with a 0.97 WHIP, 2.3 BB/9, and 9.3 K/9. That’s less than a baserunner per inning, while striking out more than a batter per inning! Which, of course, adds up to the ATVL full season A-ball pitcher of the year!
