Strangely enough, our HOD does NOT come from the Turks-River Bandits game. Instead, it’s Strasburg’s Carter Pharis, from UAB! Carter went 3-3, with a run, RBI, walk, and 2 doubles. He’s now hitting 317/414/500 in 60 at-bats for the Express. For UAB, as a freshman, Carter hit 297/386/406 in 192 at-bats. He led the Blazers in batting average, doubles, and RBIs, and was second in on-base percentage and slugging percentage. As a freshman!
