  • Tyler Zombro (Staunton 2014) threw a complete game shutout against Fordham on Friday for George Mason. He allowed 6 hits, 0 walks, and struck out 1. He only threw 83 pitches in the 9 innings. Overall, he’s 1-3, 2.48, with 39 hits, 6 walks, and 27 strikeouts in 36 1/3 innings.
  • Abraham Almonte (Strasburg 2016) also threw a shutout, albeit “only” 7 innings, in the second game of a doubleheader for Philadelphia University against Caldwell on Saturday.
