  1. I attended the New Market-Waynesboro game on Friday night. It was the first Valley League game I’d been to in thirty-one years — my father worked for JMU in the early ’80s and we sometimes went to Turks games when Mick or Mack (a grocery store in Harrisonburg) gave out free tickets — and I went mainly because I felt the need for a road trip.

I wrote about the experience on my blog.

Nice work on this site, by the way.
