Yesterday, Sunday afternoon, former Charlottesville Tom Sox Will Morgan (2017) cranked three home runs for Old Dominion in their 11-8 victory over Kansas State.
“It was pretty awesome. I was just trying to hit the ball hard. I was working hard in BP today to just try and be short to the ball and it ended up working out for me,” Will said on odusports.com. Will is now hitting 250/333/750 in his first 24 at-bats this season.
Vinnie Pasquantino, also a 2017 Tom Sox, hit one home run as well for the Monarchs- his first of the young season.
Congratulations to both players!
