Our POD is none other than New Market’s Daniel Sweeney, from East Tennessee State! Daniel Sweeney ETSU 2018Daniel threw 6 shutout innings against Harrisonburg while allowing 3 hits, 1 walk, and striking out 9. (I sat behind the plate for some of this one, and Daniel’s breaking stuff was working very well last night.) Daniel is now 2-2, 4.90, with 26 strikeouts in 22 innings pitched this summer.
