With his double in the first inning of yesterday’s game against William Peace, Piedmont’s Brady Ballstadt became Piedmont’s career leader in the category with 46!

A former Front Royal Cardinal (2018), Ballstadt is making the most of his senior year, slashing 392/494/608 in 18 games and 74 at-bats, with 26 runs, 16 RBIs, 7 doubles, 3 triples, and an inside-the-park home run. His BB/K ratio is an excellent 13/11, and he’s even stolen 12 bases without being caught. Piedmont is current ranked 19th in Division-III, and Ballstadt’s production is a large reason that’s the case.

Another reason the squad is performing so well is Andrew Burden (Front Royal 2018), who is hitting 469/605/766, also in 18 games and 64 at-bats. He has 26 runs, 23 RBIs, 7 doubles, 3 triples, 2 home runs, a ridiculous 20/9 BB/K ratio, and 11 stolen bases without being caught.

With those two in the middle of the lineup, it’s no wonder Piedmont is 14-4!
