This is getting ridiculous.
Making his Double-A debut yesterday for New Hampshire, Nate Pearson (Staunton 2016) fired 5 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits, 0 walks, and striking out 8. He didn’t receive a decision, but this young man, in seven starts combined over two levels this season, is 3-0, 0.69, with a 0.58 WHIP, 1.0 BB/9, and 14.9 K/9 in 26 innings pitched.
I don’t know how Toronto plans to use Nate in the near future, but he is dominating just about every time he takes the mound. Might we see the man with the 100+mph fastball in Toronto later this summer?
