Three players all from Omaha, and former Valley Leaguers of course, have been named All-Summit League. (And Omaha is playing in Regionals starting tomorrow)
- The big one is Payton Kinney (Waynesboro 2017), who was named first team at starting pitcher and Pitcher of the Year. It’s obvious to see why: he went 10-1, 1.77, with a 1.00 WHIP, 3.1 BB/9, and 8.2 K/9 in 101 2/3 innings pitched.
- Thomas DeBonville (Front Royal 2018) has been named second team in the outfield. He hit 286/330/461, with 8 doubles, 5 triples, and 6 home runs.
- Grant Suponchick (Waynesboro 2017) is also second team- at utility. Grant hit 297/347/453 in 64 at-bats, and went 2-1, 4.07, with 18 strikeouts in 24 1/3 innings on the mound.
