Former Winchester Royal Joseph Odom (2012) has been named a Texas League all-star!

Drafted all the way back in 2013 by the Atlanta Braves, Odom is currently playing for Arkansas in the Seattle Mariners’ system. He’s hitting 247/312/318 in 170 at-bats, with 6 doubles and 2 home runs.

For those who remember 2012, it was the summer of the offensive explosion in the Valley, and Odom was one of the best hitters in the league that year. He was teammates with Jimmy Yezzo, another masher who was drafted from that team.

The Texas League all-star game was held in Tulsa yesterday.
