The hitter of the day is Strasburg’s Brandon Henson, from VCU, who went 4-5, with two runs, a double, home run, and four RBIs. Henson was the hitter of the day back on June 8th as well, when he also had four hits. Brandon is now slashing .333/.438/.467 in 75 at-bats this summer, with four doubles and two home runs.

This was an easy call; it’s Strasburg’s Cole McMillan, from San Jacinto North, who threw six no-hit, shutout innings against Winchester. He walked two and struck out eight to earn a game score of 78- the third best of the summer. McMillan’s now 1-1, 2.07, with 26 strikeouts in 17 1/3 innings pitched.
