Hard to believe, but we’re moving on to the few categories for pitchers in the minor leagues. We’ll begin with wins; first from 2006-2019, and then All-Time:
2006-2019 | |||
1 | Scott Copeland | Staunton ’07 | 76 |
2 | Elih Villanueva | Luray ’07 | 73 |
3 | Brad Mills | Harrisonburg ’05 | 62 |
4 | Brandon Dickson | New Market ’06 | 54 |
5 | Mike Ballard | Staunton ’04 | 52 |
6 | Taylor Hill | Winchester ’08 | 48 |
7 | Austin Gomber | Luray ’12 | 45 |
8 | Rowdy Hardy | Staunton ’04 | 40 |
Cole McCurry | New Market ’05 | 40 | |
10 | Kevin Herget | Strasburg ’12 | 39 |
11 | Tobi Stoner | Front Royal ’05 | 38 |
12 | Stephen Kohlscheen | Harrisonburg ’10 | 35 |
13 | Tim Sexton | Staunton ’06-07 | 34 |
Greg Burke | New Market ’03 | 34 |
Scott Copeland passed Elih Villanueva for first place this season with his six wins for Triple-A Fresno. The only other change is Austin Gomber, who was out for most of the season, but still won four games for Triple-A Memphis. He moved a little bit closer to Taylor Hill (who pitched in the Indy Leagues in 2019). Interesting- eight of the 14 entries pitched in the major leagues.

Copeland passed three guys on this list- there were no other changes. According to my research, only Tim Burcham and Mike Ballard DIDN’T play in the majors. Whoa.
