Breaking Rudy Flores’s stranglehold on this award is Patrick Mazeika (Waynesboro 2013). Playing for Binghamton in the New York Mets’ system, Mazeika hit .245/.312/.426 in 413 at-bats, with 50 runs scored, 25 doubles, a triple, 16 home runs, 69 RBIs, and 37 walks against 89 strikeouts. He is still considered a prospect with a shot. He also was the 2015 Rookie-Level Hitter of the Year.
