In Wes Clarke‘s summer season in Waynesboro in 2019, he was named an All-Star, a Prospect Showcase participant, first-team All-Valley at catcher, All Things Valley League’s second best hitter in the league,  and the second best prospect in the league by Perfect Game.

Now he can add another award to the list: 2020 third team All-American (at first base) by Collegiate Baseball!

In South Carolina’s abbreviated season, Clarke hit .286/.406/.714 in 56 at-bats, with 14 runs scored, eight home runs, 22 RBIs, and a 8/15 BB/K ratio. He led the Gamecocks in slugging, home runs, RBIs, and tied for first in runs.
