Pitcher of the Day

There were a number of excellent performances last night, but the best one was turned in by Front Royal’s Ezekiel Gongola, from Montgomery College Germantown, who tossed five shutout innings while allowing only two hits, no walks, and striking out five to earn the win and a game score of 68. He’s now 1-0, 6.75 on the season, with nine strikeouts in eight innings pitched.
