The 10th best reliever in the 2021 Valley League is the 6-foot-1 lefty from South Florida, Caleb Pundsack.
Pundsack pitched in seven games for Covington before the team shut down, going 0-1, 1.88, with a .149 BAA, 1.119 WHIP, 5.7 BB/9, and 11.3 K/9 in 14 1/3 innings. He finished fourth on this list in BAA, tied for sixth in ERA, and tied for eighth in WHIP. His best game was on July 10, his last outing, when he dominated the Front Royal Cardinals in 3 2/3 shutout innings, allowing only one hit and one walk while striking out seven.
The current sophomore appeared in ten games as a freshman in 2021, going 0-0, 7.27 in 8 2/3 innings. He was ranked in the top 25 of lefthanders in the state of Florida coming out of high school, and top 500 nationally.
