The Valley League attracts players from all levels- Divisions I, II, and III, Junior Colleges, and NAIA. While there are many, many more D-I players than from any other level (numbers on that coming next fall), we will celebrate excellence no matter the level.
So today, let’s take a look at three NAIA players who are on the national stats leaderboard:
- Peyton Crispin (Harrisonburg 2021) is crushing the ball for Oklahoma City so far this spring. He’s hitting a ridiculous .500/.541/.966 in 88 at-bats, with 15 doubles, eight home runs, and 36 RBIs. He is currently sixth overall in both batting average and slugging percentage, and third in doubles. He’s 44-88!
- Kris Allen (Front Royal 2021) is third in the nation with 28 walks. Attending St. Andrews, Allen is hitting .271/.455/.656.
- Kobe Foster (Front Royal 2018) has been lights out for Tennessee Wesleyan this spring. Overall, he’s an absurd 7-0, 1.00 in 45 innings, while allowing only 21 hits and eight walks, and striking out 63. He’s tied for first in the nation in wins and third in ERA.
