Storms knocked out two of our games, but two were still played:

  • Staunton 7, Harrisonburg 4: Staunton is 12-20; Turks fall to 18-11
  • Covington 6, Waynesboro 5: Jacks are 14-16; Generals 20-12-1 (With plans to finish that tie game on Saturday, by the way)

Hitter of the Day

The HOD is Harrisonburg’s Michael Rosario, who went 4-5 with a run, double, and stolen base. From Miami, Rosario is putting up excellent numbers this summer; he’s at .377/.458/.689 in 61 at-bats, with six doubles, two triples, three home runs, an 8/11 BB/K, and even seven stolen bases. He would lead the league in batting average if he had enough plate appearances.
