Our #12 reliever, Dillon Drabble, from Charles Town, had some of the best pure “stuff” in the 2015 Valley League season, according to one source.
Drabble was a key cog in the Cannon bullpen, going 3-1, 1.98 in 16 games (one game a start). He saved 1 game, had a 1.07 WHIP, 3.1 BB/9, and 7.9 K/9 in 31 2/3 innings pitched. He shut down Staunton in his one start, going 7 innings and allowing only 4 hits, 1 earned run, and 1 walk while striking out 8.
Dillon pitched for Central Arkansas in 2015, but only logged 6 1/3 innings over 4 games (2 starts). He is currently attending Seminole State College, a junior college in Seminole, Oklahoma. According to his twitter account, he has committed to Texas A&M. From what I can tell, Dillon has not pitched yet in the 2016 college season.
Nice job, Dillon!
