Our hitter of the day, for the third time, is Waynesboro’s Tanner Poole, from Mississippi State! Tanner crushed the Tom Sox in game 2 last night, going 3-5, with 3 runs, 4 RBIs, a double, and 2 home runs. Tanner is having a banner summer, hitting 338/470/541 in 148 at-bats, along with 46 runs scored (in only 39 games), 23 RBIs, 7 doubles, 4 triples, 5 home runs, and 20 stolen bases. He’s currently 6th in the league in batting average, 2nd in on-base percentage, and 5th in slugging percentage. He’s a key component of the Gen’s batting order!
