Four Off to Quick Starts

The minor league season is off and running! Most teams are through just a few games, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t take a quick look at four hitters who are off to quick starts…. (stats through April 12th)

  • Matt Snyder (Haymarket, Winchester 2011), playing for Tampa in the Florida State League (which is usually a pitcher’s league). Matt started the season 0-6, but since has gone 7-13 with a double, home run, and 5 RBIs. Overall, he’s at 368/400/684 in 19 at-bats.
  • Bradley Jones (Charles Town 2015), playing in Lansing of the Midwest League. Bradley will probably get some attention this year, as he’s playing on the same team as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Bradley is hitting 320/357/520 in 25 at-bats, with a triple, a home run, and 4 RBIs.
  • Michael Brosseau (Waynesboro 2015) is hitting 412/444/882 in 17 at-bats for Bowling Green of the Midwest League. He has 2 doubles, 2 home runs, and 3 RBIs.
  • Ryan McBroom (Haymarket 2011-12), playing for New Hampshire of the Eastern League, is hitting 300/391/400 in 20 at-bats.

Keep it up, guys!
