Fourteen former VBLers have topped 1,000 hits in the major leagues, with Jay and Kipnis closing in. Not bad! Murphy will most likely, barring injury, pass David Eckstein to move into 7th place in 2018. Gardner could move all the way from 12th to 9th as well.
