2017 Double-A Hitter of the Year

Moving on to Double-A! Our hitter and pitcher of the year in Double-A is chosen from the Texas, Southern, and Eastern Leagues.

The past three years:

2016- D.J. Hicks (Luray 2009)
2015- Chad Oberacker (Fauquier 2009)
2014- Cory Spangenberg (Winchester 2010)

Hopefully the 2017 winner won’t suffer the same fate as the last two- both Hicks and Oberacker are now out of pro ball.

Rudy Flores Reno 2017Anyway, our 2017 Double-A hitter of the year is Rudy Flores (Haymarket 2010)! He hit 298/337/494, with 20 doubles, 1 triple, 8 home runs, and a 12/64 BB/K ratio.
