Anthony Pecora Wagner 2018It should come as no surprise that the hitter of the day comes from the game in Strasburg, with 31 runs, 31 hits, 16 walks, 8 doubles, 2 home runs…. Well, it’s Strasburg’s Anthony Pecora, from Wagner, who earns our honor. Anthony went 5-6, with 3 runs, 4 RBIs, a double, and a home runs. Pitcher of the Day

We still had a few pitchers perform well on such a hitting night! Our pitcher of the day isHunter Gregory Charlottesville 2018 Charlottesville’s Hunter Gregory, from Old Dominion, who threw 4 shutout innings against Covington. He allowed 1 hit, 1 walk, and struck out 2 to earn the win. Hunter is now 1-1, 2.00 this summer, with 17 K’s and only 15 baserunners in 18 innings pitched. He went 3-5, 6.67, with 53 K’s in 59 1/3 innings for ODU this spring.
