  • Front Royal: 6 games left, 1 game behind Cannons, 1.5 ahead of Rebels, clinched playoff spot
  • New Market: 5 games left, 1.5 behind Cardinals, 1.5 ahead of Royals. Won 3 in a row, 7-3 in last 10. The hottest team in the North, but has not clinched a playoff spot yet (1 win and/or 1 Strasburg loss will clinch a tie for a spot, though)
  • Winchester: 4 games left, 1.5 behind Rebels, 3 ahead of Express. 2 wins and/or 1 win and a Strasburg loss will clinch a tie for playoff spot
  • Strasburg: 6 games left, 3 behind Royals. The Express doesn’t need to win out just yet, but they need to win at least 4 of their last 6, and get some help to make the playoffs.
  • Woodstock: 4 games left, eliminated from playoff chase for the 3rd season in row. Needs to win out to tie Rockbridge for lowest winning percentage since 2001 (at least).

  • Staunton: 3 games left, 2.5 behind Generals, 1 ahead of Turks. The two teams are to play tonight; if the Braves win, they would clinch a tie for the 4th spot, and they would have to win one OR the Turks lose one to be in the playoffs for sure.
  • Harrisonburg: 3 games left, 1 behind Braves. If the Turks beat the Braves, the teams would be tied with 2 games left for each. (Braves play Waynesboro and Charlottesville; Turks would play Charlottesville and Covington. Neither team has it easy!)
