A grand total of eight former Valley Leaguers have been named All-Conference in Conference USA!

Here they are (all stats are through May 21):

  • Bryan Arias, UTSA (Harrisonburg 2016-17), first team infield: Bryan hit 340/455/560 in 200 at-bats, with 52 runs, 13 doubles, 9 home runs, and a solid 40/33 BB/K ratio.
  • Vinnie Pasquantino, Old Dominion (Charlottesville 2017), first team infield: 298/402/560, 45 runs, 15 home runs, 53 RBIs, 31/28 BB/K ratio… as I write this, ODU is in a conference tournament game with Western Kentucky, and Vinnie is 2-4 with a double and home run.
  • Bryce Windham, Old Dominion (Charlottesville 2017), second team infield: 343/465/419, 60 runs and a ridiculous 44/13 BB/K ratio.
  • Gabe Montenegro, Southern Miss (Waynesboro 2018), second team outfield: 325/440/461, 58 runs, 37/34 BB/K ratio.
  • Andru Summerall, Florida Atlantic (Purcellville 2017), second team outfield: 305/389/505, 47 runs, 16 doubles, 8 home runs, 55 RBIs, 23/47 BB/K ratio.
  • Bryant Bowen, Southern Miss (Waynesboro 2016), second team DH: 341/396/559, 10 doubles, 9 home runs, 46 RBIs, 17/26 BB/K ratio.
  • Peyton Wigginton, Middle Tennessee (Staunton 2018), second team utility: 289/385/398 in 83 at-bats, and 5-5, 5.25, 1.55 WHIP, 2.4 BB/9, and 8.5 K/9 in 84 innings pitched.
  • Hunter Gregory, Old Dominion (Charlottesville 2018), second team relief pitcher: 7-3, 3.92, 2 saves, 1.37 WHIP, 3.3 BB/9, and 12.8 K/9 in 59 2/3 innings pitched.
