Goldsmith Named USA Signs Player of the Week

The USA Signs player of the week in week two of the Valley League is Winchester’s Jimmy Goldsmith, from Radford!

Goldsmith pummelled the ball in week two, going 11-18, with a batting line of 611/632/944. He scored 8 runs, hit 2 home runs, and drove in 11 runs for the Royals. He had one game in which he went 5-6 with 6 runs batted in, and a second one in which he finished 4-5 with 5 RBIs.

He played in two games last week, too, and went 4-6 in those, putting him at 15-24 for the season so far.
