For the third time already, the pitcher of the day is Harrisonburg’s Jacob Ferris, from Eastern Kentucky. Jacob threw 7 2/3 outstanding innings against Waynesboro while allowing 7 hits, 1 earned run, 0 walks, and striking out 9. He earned the win and a game score of 70. Ferris is now 3-0, 0.68 in 26 2/3 innings, with 29 strikeouts against only 3 walks this summer.
