The pitcher of the day, for the second time, is Woodstock’s Tristen Bayless. Also the POD on June 15th, last night Bayless threw six excellent innings against Harrisonburg, allowing three hits, one unearned run, three walks, and struck out ten. He earned the win and a game score of 70. The lefty from Houston will represent the Valley in the Showcase coming up next week, and well he should, as he’s 2-2, 1.95, with 43 strikeouts in only 27 2/3 innings pitched.
