Hitter of the Day

The hitter of the day is David Maberry, from North Florida, who joined the Waynesboro Generals about ten days ago. Maberry went 3-4, with three runs, two home runs, and four RBIs. He’s 5-17 since arriving back in the Valley- he played in New Market in 2018.

Pitcher of the Day

The pitcher of the day is Staunton’s Bailey Hall, from Eastern Mennonite University. Bailey threw five shutout innings, and allowed four hits, no walks, and struck out five. He earned the win and a game score of 64. Like Maberry, Hall has also returned to the league; he played in Staunton in 2018 as well.
