Hitter of the Day

On June 18, 2018, Winchester’s Aaron Palensky went 3-4, with three runs scored, a double, home run, hit-by-pitch, stolen base, and two RBIs, helping the Royals defeat Strasburg, 9-5. Palensky hit .281/.386/.381 in 139 at-bats in 2018, with eight doubles and two home runs. He hit even better in 2019, when upon returning to the Royals, he hit .301/.383/.512 in 123 at-bats, with nine doubles, a triple, and five home runs. The best part of all of this is that Palensky has been signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Yankees.
