Hitter of the Day
Our HOD is Charlottesville’s Kam Guidry, from the University of Georgia. Guidry had two hits and an RBI last night against Staunton, putting him at 3-5 overall after two games played this summer. He batted 26 times in college this spring.

Pitcher of the Day
Our POD is Staunton’s Tanner Moyers, from Lenoir-Rhyne, who threw four shutout innings while allowing only one hit and one walk, and struck out four. From Turner Ashby High School in Bridgewater, Moyers is now 0-0, 7.71 in seven innings this summer. He went 3-3, 5.23 in 41 1/3 innings this spring, with only nine walks against 42 K’s.
